See the resemblance?

So Laura and I were sharing pictures the other day and we made the discovery that Cameron (Laura's nephew) and I are very similar. See for yourself! Ah how sweet!

Life since the end...

of high school that is. I graduated on June 5 which was a tuesday. On that Friday I graduated with and associates degree in arts and sciences from Everett Community College. Then on Sunday, I graduated from seminary. Woohoo! Three graduations in one week. I almost drove myself insane with stress by the end of my community college career. It felt good to be done.
Thus started the dreaded job search. I felt like I'd applied everywhere (10 places is the same as everywhere right?). I almost secured a job at Target but they require a 90 day training period and I didn't have that manky days before I go off to school (BYU Idaho heck yes!!)

I finally decided to apply at KFC because I know the manager and some of my friends work there. I didn't even have to fill out an application. I walked right in and spoke with Elaine (the manager) and she told me to get a food handlers permit and what I needed for my uniform and I was hired. Woohoo! So now I am a faithful worker at KFC. I'm starting to get sick of the food not to mention the smell of chicken. Laura, my sister in law, won't let me sit next to her when I come home until I've taken a shower. That's how bad I smell.

This past weekend Laura and I did a bunch of fun stuff. I introduced to a game called Mall Madness. We even got Stuart and Josh to play. I would have won if I hadn't, well, lost... Anyway the point of the game is basically to buy stuff. Laura's a natural at shopping so she won. On Saturday we went Garage Sale Shopping!! We didn't find anything but it was fun anyway. Then we went out to Kafe Neo for dinner. Mmmmmm....Gyros and greek fries. Pure joy! Then on Sunday we had our very own sleepover. We watched the Emperor's New Groove. I was really hyper so there were a lot of giggles.
So life's been pretty good. In a couple of weeks I'll be going to Efy and then a few weeks after that I get to go to Oregon and then College!
