Easter!

First off, this picture is for Mimi who kicked Sara's butt.

Okie Dokie. Sunday was Easter! Huzzah! We decorated eggs, at a bunch of yummy random foods, and watched a 3 hr 45 min Bollywood movie called "Lagaan" (most of that wasn't in English. Hooray for subtitles). I also got to visit with Stuart and Laura. The only bad thing about that is that my roommates then discovered that it is possible for me to be stranger than I already am on a regular day basis. But it's all good.

On Monday, we had an Easter egg hunt for FHE in the building farthest away from our dorms. Mary was nice enough to drive us up there and afterwards she attempted to do doughnuts in the parking lot. Afterwards, we were feeling a bit spontaneous so we picked up Sara's friend, Ben, and we all went out to Dairy Queen for ice cream. After dropping Ben off at his apartment, we went to the store so the lovely Sara could pick up some candy that was promised to us (aka M&M's). Of course the night would not have been complete without taking some pictures.

While we were walking to our dorm, Mary wanted to give Sara a piggy back ride. It didn't really work out. They ended up on the ground.

And that concludes this week's adventure thus far......

Mary Bricker

I once had a roommate named Mary
Who burnt her tongue
On a dehydrated berry

She spoke while dreaming
And that’s how we learned
She was scheming

To take over the world
With a bazooka that shoots
Jelly filled doughnuts
(Huckleberry flavored)

On the eve of the world’s mass destruction
Her plan was foiled by everyone’s
Favorite superhero

That’s right
The Daniello Dello
Complete with tights

The Daniello Dello
Fought back with
Raisin filled cookies
(That Mary had made the night before)

I once had a roommate named Mary
Whose plan failed due to
Dehydrated berries

Ode to such and such!

I've discovered that Sara and Mary look better with big noses and facial hair. I think this is what they are going to look like that when they get old.

On Sunday, Sara and I needed some entertainment so we went to the BYU-I sign and took lovely pictures to show off.

Other crazy things that have been happening.... Mary and I discovered that a shoe's natural habitat is in the bathroom. I think Sara misses her shoe. It keeps escaping in there and hiding behind the toilet. I keep telling her that I'm going to flush it down the toilet but she doesn't believe me.

I made some delicious pudding pie and Mary used it as war paint. It was delicious!!! (Well I'm not sure about the pudding on Mary's face....)

Oh the Excitement!

Family history gets more exciting with each day! I've found that some of my ancestors are in books and yesterday I was able to find a bunch of pictures of my family!! Not to mention I'm finding a bunch of death records, census, war drafts, etc. Ancestry.com has become my best friend. Sadly we'll have to part in April once I go back home. The school pays for it here so I'm trying to take advantage of that while I can.

Anywho, I found a picture of my grandpa with his dad yesterday!

There they are! I think Grandpa's looks have improved over the years.

He's the one on the right. : )

I love my grandpa. He is so funny and loving! He's wonderful to be around and he can still beat me in a race.

Happy Anniversary To You!!!

Today is Stuart and Laura's anniversaray! Hooray! I told Stuart I'd give him a mango for the occasion but that won't work because Laura is not a big fan of them. I better do something or Laura won't let me into their apartment ever again...

So here's to a couple of my favorite people (don't worry, you are probably my favorite too!!). I love having them at school with me so I can hang out and have a little bit of home. Plus they are just awesome and fun to be around! I remember when I first met Laura and she seemed like this cute, quiet, innocent little thing. I have since learned her true nature. She fits into the family quite well except for I think she has a little bit more of the normal gene then the rest of us.
