Me I Want A Hula Hoop!

I hope everyone had a splendiferous Christmas! I was stuck at home dealing with things like this!!!!!

But some good came out of the festivities. I beat Grandpa at ping pong and I scored the highest I've ever scored at scrabble. I had some great moments where I learned something new like how to tie a tie!

It's really short but it's cuter that way.

Christmas was great. We watched the Grinch on Christmas Adam and Muppet Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve. We were all very excited to wake up Christmas morning and see all the goodies that Santa left for us. You can see it in Megan's eyes!

Okay so that look was really for the one-size-fit all shirt she got from a passing squirrel. I got one as well. When I tried it on my father very politely referred to it as a boob shirt. I don't think I'll be wearing it anytime soon. I did wear it long enough to have some pictures taken with Megan. Even Molly insisted on trying on the shirt (except for the fact that I had to force it on her).

I got a ton of DVDs for Christmas. It will great when I get back to school since we already watched all the other DVDs around. One thing Josh got that he, Megan, and me enjoy is Rock Band! Josh plays guitar, Megan is on drums, and I'm vocals. Sadly I know like none of the songs on there so my singing gets very....unique. But hey, we keep gaining fans!

Megan was born to be a drummer. Ever since she was 5 months old she knew that her purpose in life was to hit things with sticks. She brings a lot of personality to the band.

However, you should never leave her alone with those sticks...

Josh loves to jam out on the guitar. Although I did hear him on vocals last night. He sings Ballroom Blitz very well and high pitched.

Today was a fun day! I spent the day with one of my friends, Amanda. We went bowling and she won all threes games. Darn. Then we went out for lunch at Bob's Burgers and Brew (don't worry we skipped out on the brew). We also went to see Enchanted. That movie is so cute. You should all see it if you haven't already. Unfortuneatly, I didn't take my camera to document today's events but I'm sure the above photos will keep you plenty entertained.

Have a happy new year!!

Here is a clip from Enchanted.

It's raining, it's pouring...

You know, I think it rains in Washington the same amount of time the wind blows in Idaho. AKA constantly. However, I do enjoy the gray rainy days better than the windy, snowy, constantly cold days. But who really wants to talk about weather anyway? I'm sitting in my room waiting for my grandparents to arrive which should be anytime within the next hour. I had an urge to call up Stuart and Laura when the sad truth hit me: they no longer have a cell phone. Sigh. But they are having a jolly good time in Utah so all is well. Yesterday, I went to a seminary breakfast with Mom. It was nice seeing people again. Once again I noticed that the only boys I can entertain are 16 or younger. Fancy that. Haha I laugh at myself. I did meet a really cute boy yesterday and he is 21 or so. He at least seemed interested in making conversation so I guess there is hope for me. Again, haha, I laugh at myself. I really don't have that much to write about. Yesterday, Megan and I rented "Encino Man" and got greek fries from Cafe Neo. YUM! The movie was pretty hilarious and you should all see it sometime. Well before I forget, have a Merry Christmas full of all sorts of holiday cheer! Oh also, "Enchanted" is an awesome movie. Go watch it....NOW!

I'm so cool too bad I'm a loser

Okay, okay, I'll update and maybe I can redeem myself since I'm apparently a horibl speler. I have a lot of pictures to share with you today. So prepare yourself!

First off is me as Inigo Montoya!

Well, that's my attempt anyway. The Sunday after I arrived home, we spent time putting up the tree and listening to Christmas music whilst taking family photos which we will cherish always.

Last but not least, Megan and me as Cousin it/the ring girl!!

GOOD NEWS!!

So a very trgaic thing happened yesterday (or maybe it was the day before yesterday....). I opened my internet browser and tried to navigate the page to blogger. It was then that all my hopes and dreams were crushed! Web Sense (the lovely security blocking websites thingamajig that the school uses) came up and told me that I would no longer be able to access this website ever. I almost cried....almost. Laura and I whimpered together while watching chick flicks and eat chocolate chip cookie dough out of a tub. No matter what she says, that's what happened okay? She'll probably tell you some wierd story like all we did was cry out to each other over IM. She always likes to downplay things... Anyway, I miraculous thing occured! Blogger all of a sudden was no longer blocked thanks to Laura's 11lb brain and her super powers that she probably got from eating dragon meat!!!! So all is good agian in the world. Plus to make things better, I'm going home tomorrow and nothing can stop me!!!!! Well, I have to be going but later on (probably tomorrow or Sunday since all my stuff is packed including my camera with wonderful pictures) I'll update and show you what I look like as Inigo Montoya! Ta!

Happy holidays from me and kabuki

Happy holidays one and all! I only have a few more days and then I'm done with this semester and I'm home free! That is of course if my flight isn't cancelled due to snow and ice. I would cry... But that won't happen. Let's be optimistic here. I'll go home and I get to look forward to something like this:

For some reason this picture made Laura laugh really hard....

Anyway, last thursday was kabuki day in my theater makeup class (that's kuh-boo-key by the way). To give you a little idea of what kabuki is all about, it's Japanese (I think) makeup that is kind of like war paint (on the men anyway). So here's an idea of what it should look like:

And this is what I looked like:

That white pancake is a pain!! It really likes to smear and smudge. My lines didn't look exactly like that at first but my teacher made me change them because they weren't defined enough or something like that. I'm fine with that as long as I got a good score. Haha.

So as I briefly mentioned above, there's snow here! Well, it's probably mostly ice today. There was lots of fluffy snow. I haven't played in it yet but my roommates have. They played out in it around 2:00 am. I was sleeping at that point. Anyway, two of my roommates climbed up on the wall around our dorms which is punishable by a $50 fine. My third roommate secretly wished they would get caught. It would have made a good story.

Speaking of good stories, we had quite an exciting adventure saturday night. Basically there was a serial killer in a clown mask outside our window and then we let him in and he shot us all with a bazooka. Okay so that's not exactly what happened. My roommate, Mimi, heard breathing and perhaps swallowing/stomach gurgling outside her window. The windows and curtains in both our rooms were wide open, perfect for clown serial killers or perverted people! So basically we all convinced each other that there was a creepy man right outside. We ran around closing all the windows and locking them. I was actually asleep when this all started and they left me to die... But I joined them in there franticness when I realized what they were talking about when they barged into my room. I tried to tell them to call campus security but by the time one of us actually did, our intruder was long gone. Just to make ourselves feel better, we all huddled in the living room and fell asleep watching "Mystery Men". Honestly, I think it would be kind of funny if there was no one there in the first place. Of course I only think that now that it's over. I was pretty freaked out at the time.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the snow and I hope you all have a wonderful December!

All I needed to know I learned from my father

As I've been sitting here for the last 30 seconds or so I've been thinking about all the things my father has taught me. I'll name a few: certain truffles must only be eaten once a day, no one else can make as good of hashbrowns as he can, when the wise men are played by a few men at church they get lost, it's okay to pretend you are having a seizure just to see the reaction of little children, we all come equipped with a universal remote (AKA the index finger), all hikes can be considered strenuous but most of them are worth the effort, E=MC with a square tied to the end of it, but the one that I've been thinking about most this morning is when you are bored a perfect way to deal with that boredom is to whip out your digital camera and take random pictures (for best results take pictures of yourself). As you can guess, I'm kind of bored this morning. So I applied some of the knowledge I've gained from Father: I took some random pictures and I ate a truffle.

Raggedy Ann: Everyone's Favorite Ragdoll

I've got some more makeup pictures for you today. We had to make ourselves into and inanamite object. I chose to turn myself into a rag doll. I didn't think it looked that great. I had high expectations. Anyway here are the pictures. The first one was my inspiration.
