Terrordactyl

For those of you who didn't think it actually existed, we have new photographic evidence. This picture was taken by a college student innocently watching a very good television program. This picture has been rated PG (some content may not be suitable for children as it may scare their pants off!).

There you have it. The Terrordactyl of legend! If you ever see one, take immediate action! This creature will not hesitate to attack you!

Goodness Gracious!

I am in such a good mood! I wish I could share all my good vibes with you! So what's been happening with little ol' me? Hmmm. Well, today I got to put makeup on one of my hometeachers for the second time in my stage makeup class. It wasn't as awkward as the first time, but still I'm pretty sure he's grateful he never has to wear makeup ever again. Yesterday was my first FHE here at BYU-I. It was fun getting to know people a little better and make people think that I can play the piano (I played the opening song). Someday I will be an amazing piano player! I'll let you know when that happens. We had so much fun driving home. We were rocking out to a bunch of tunes so much in fact that we missed our exit. Oops! But it was still fun. So yeppidy yep yep. Not too exciting but life is good.

Just a little background for the stories I've missed out on. We had 8 goldfish that all died within two days. Now we have a Beta named Waldo who I'm proud to say looks like he'll be sticking around for a while. We ate our beloved watermelon Raphael. That was a fun experience. Although, Natalie is kind of scary when she has a big ol' knife in her hand. We also took expo markers and wrote all over the mirror in the hall. We wrote things such as "never give up, never surrender" and "I have a crush on every boy". So it's all a bundle of joy and goodness.

Leaping Starfish, Batman!

Have you ever wondered what you would look like if you meshed your face with somebody elses? Now you can!! Laura just introduce me to a new cite. morphthing.com. So I spent a great deal of time meshing pictures of me, my dad, and Cameron with other people. Here are some of the best (or freakiest) ones. Take note that the picture I used for my dad is one of my favorites. I'm sure you can see why.

Alrighty then! The first morph is Dad and Ashley Tisdale (aka Sharpay)

Welcome to my humble abode

Yesterday, one of my roomates, Sarah, and I went to the dollar store and bought tons of stuff to decorate our dorm. Mom requested pictures so I thought I'd share our lovely artistic style with everyone! Okay so we didn't get the picture of Christ at the dollar store but the sign that says faith above it was from the dollar store. We put the foam butterflies on most of the kitchen cabinets. And Rocky is hanging out on our front door surrounded my a border of flowers. How sweet! It all comes together very nicely!

Rexburg and Jenga. A good combination.

So we arrived in Rexburg a few days early so we could hang out at Stu and Lor's apartment and just relax. Every once in awhile I had to take out my camera and take random pictures. Now that I have my own digital camera, I get these sudden urges.

Supposedly these two are my parents, but I'm not to sure...

After moving into my dorm on Saturday, I went back to Stu and Lor's to spend the night. Only one of my roomates had moved in and she was going to be having dinner with her family that night anyway. When we got to the apartment we roasted hot dogs and marshmellows over an open fire. Well sort of.

Mom and Dad left the next morning. That afternoon, I went once again to Stuart and Laura's apartment where we had some awesomely good food (Thanks for dinner, Laura!!) and played an extreme game of jenga. Would you believe it was my first time? Since it was my first time and had no experience I was the first one to knock it down (well technically, Laura was the first one but I'm not counting that because she delibrately punched it). Stuart knocked it down the second time. We were so close to reaching the expert level and he ruined it. I think we had 34 levels by the end.

After jenga, we settled down. By settled down I mean Laura wore the top of her new ottoman as a hat, Stuart got eaten by the ottoman, and then we basically clung to each other for dear life!

Way Down South!

By way down south I mean Oregon. So I'm a little late on this but the last week of August the fam and I took a trip to Oregon to visit my grandparents in Grants Pass and Rogue River. The trip down wasn't extremely exciting except for this guy on this sweet motorcycle and the fact that Laura was freaky out in the back seat (haha).

We first took a pit stop in Portland where we stayed the night at a family friend's house. We had all sorts of crazy fun. We played some Hallelujah Ten, Spoons (which can be a very violent game. The last time I played it with them, we had to use plastic spoons. I got into a wrestling match with one of the girls of a spoon which happened to snap but we kept fighting for the victory. I ended up losing and had wound on my pinky. I even had a scar for awhile.), and some good ol' fashioned hide and seek.

Josh enjoyed sitting on me while he counted.....

We had a jolly good time in Grants Pass. We lounged about on the patio, enjoying the light breeze, swapping stories, making fun of me, good times, good times.

It is a custom of Grandpa's to take a walk after supper, so while the adults were strolling along in the park a few minutes from my grandparents house, Josh and I enjoyed the simply joys of childhood. As you can see from the pictures, it was a risky business and I could've been killed by the freaky horse thing....

Our adventures then sent us to Crater Lake where I was almost eaten by a chipmunk. Very vicious creatures I assure you.

We also made a stop at the Rogue Gorge and a trial to a natural bridge where we saw some lovely falls, a cave/lava tube, the natural bridge (basically a hunk of rock), and well basically everyone having a good time posing for the camera.

Later on the trip, Dad, Grandpa, and I went on a hike to Rainy Falls. That was adventurous simply because the path was only a person and a half wide the whole way and was mostly rock. The view at the end was worth all my trials and suffering.

Our trip just wouldn't be complete without visiting some friendly carnivorous plants, California redwoods, and the Oregon coast. I really wasn't planning on getting wet while at the coast but I gave in and played Chicken with the ocean. I lost.... Afterwards, we treated ourselves to Dairy Queen!

All was good in the world... Then moment we got back home we began preparations for Idaho....
To be continued....
